Vodafone Americas Foundation, located in Silicon Valley and Denver, Colorado, is part of Vodafone’s global network of foundations. “Mobile for Good” is a universal theme throughout Vodafone’s worldwide foundations. The Foundations mobilize communities by bringing people together from all sectors: business, nonprofit, government, employees and their customer base, to resolve shared problems and advance social change.

The Americas Foundation designed the Wireless Innovation Project as a competition to promote innovation and increase implementation of wireless related technology for a better world. The site features the current competition as well as an archive of past winners and their projects, and includes an online application for new candidates.
