The Stuart Foundation works to improve life outcomes for young people by developing policy and support for public secondary and postsecondary education systems that accelerate academic success and foster creativity, critical thinking, agency, and belonging.
Ison Design designed and developed a website that would reflect a sense of thriving youth, through a cold palette, playful typography, and photography that captures the spirit of young people in a period of exploration and growth. The new site offers afforded a deeper view of the research and work product of the Foundation and its collaborators while maintaining a focus on simple, intuitive navigation and ‘findability’ for the extensive data showcased in the site.
The deepest content areas of the site are an extensive resource library and grantee database, where Ison Design designed and implemented a “faceted” (filter-based) search interface that allows users to explore content by narrowing or broadening scope without leaving the page, rather than having to wander through multiple pages and tabs.
